CTG Test – Caring for You and Your Baby A CTG (cardiotocography) test is a safe, non-invasive test that allows you to assess the baby's heart rate, its response to movements, and any uterine contractions. This is one of the basic tests performed in the third trimester of pregnancy, as well as when the expectant mother wants to make sure everything is okay with the baby. The test includes: * recording of the fetal heart rate * assessment of the baby's movements * assessment of uterine contractions * professional analysis of the CTG recording * discussion of the results and answers to your questions Test duration: approximately 30–40 minutes.
